Which accounting standard applies to you?
Nepal has three reporting frameworks issued by the Accounting Standards Board: full NFRS (based on IFRS) for listed and larger entities, NFRS for SMEs for small and medium-sized entities, and NAS for Micro Entities for the smallest businesses. Which one you use depends on your size and type of entity, and I'll confirm it at the start.
How it works
- Set up. I review your current books and agree how you'll share bills, bank statements and sales records each month.
- Monthly close. Transactions are recorded and reconciled, and VAT and TDS figures are ready before their deadlines.
- Reports. You get a monthly summary and, at year-end, financial statements ready for the audit and tax return.
Frequently asked questions
Which accounting software do you work with?
Xero (L1 certified), QuickBooks (Pro certified), Zoho Books and Tally, plus ERPs such as SAP, Oracle and MS Dynamics 365. I can also help you choose and set up a system.
My books are years behind. Can you help?
Yes. Catch-up accounting for missed years is common, especially for companies bringing their OCR and tax filings up to date.
Do you work with businesses outside Kathmandu?
Yes. Records can be shared online, so the service works for businesses anywhere in Nepal.
